Highlights from the first few days ...

Wow - what a whirl wind of a week and it's not even been a full week yet! We are all doing well, thank you to all of our precious friends and family that have checked in on us - we are SO very blessed to have you all along for the ride. Your support means the world to us! As well as your prayers. And praying has been something this new Mama of two has done a LOT of this week. I knew I could never fully prepare myself for life with two, but I knew God could - and he has.

He's given us the strength we've needed for those LONG nights up with our sweet Caroline - and let me tell you - she's a late night partier like no other - last night we were up ALL night - I finally got to sleep for an an hour around 7 a.m. But, you know - today has been a great day - amazing that I can function on one hour of sleep and still have a good day - perspective. And thank God he's helped us keep it this week.

So - just a few highlights from our first few days as a family of 4 - I'll do a much bigger update on Sunday. Until then - enjoy:

Homecoming outfit - May 17, 2011
Wide eyed and ready to come home!

Snug as a bug in a rug

David said he wanted our children to know their Mother is ALWAYS on her phone

Headed home

New backseat buddies ...

Big sister helping feed baby sister her first ba-ba - we're trying to think of ways to include Big Sister

Mama is a little nervous, but Little Sister was a great sport and Big Sister was so proud of helping feed the baby

Oh and just for kicks - I graduated on Saturday!!! WOO HOO!! Just had to add that for good measure - we're SO glad grad school is over!

  1. She is so precious Megann! I can't wait to meet her! I know CE will be such a good big helper. I always let Hayes pick out burp cloths and diapers. That seems to keep her happy to feel like she is helping me!
