Here comes Peter Cottontail!

We Cains have been celebrating all kinds of Easter!  We've been in the spirit!  What a wonderful weekend we had filled with dear friends.  We were headed to the big AC to spend the weekend with Meme, but she came down with the stomach bug, bless her heart.  So we stayed in town and filled our time with some of our favorite peeps.

Friday we had a wonderful time with Team Brown - very impromptu meeting up for a late afternoon cocktail before carpool and it turned into a super fun night with the entire family.  Good times!  I wish I had pictures to share, but I only have this one of K and T - they are as fun as they look in this picture.  Y'all will remember that they are the fearless team captains of Team Brown that throws the fabulous Gingerbread soiree each Christmas.

Saturday we spent the morning with the Carmichaels - another favorite family that we love dearly!  We dyed Easter eggs and had a back-yard Easter egg hunt - so fun!  We were very thankful the rain held off for most of the day.  Egg dying was pretty intense - lots of instructions and impatient kiddos - really Paz?  Can't we make a dying kit that takes less than 5 minutes for the dye to set?  5 minutes is a very long time for three children under three!  But we waited and the eggs turned out ... sort of:)  Archer's look way better than the Cain ladies' eggs!

It happens ....

Next we had a little Easter egg hunt!  The kiddos did a fabulous job hunting the eggs - Caroline and Archer did great for one year olds!  Caroline seems to really have the concept of "getting the most eggs wins" down.  At one point she took all of Archer's from his basket, but she decided to give him back one or two.  Fun was had by all!
